While technology has profoundly disrupted virtually every sector of our economy, it hasn’t had that large an impact on American education. Teachers are using more technology today, but the essential model hasn’t changed that much, despite tech proponents argument that algorithm and peer-guided learning can transform the system. At least that was the case until the pandemic. COVID-19 is providing a massive experiment in technological learning, as most American classrooms involve some form of distance technological learning
